By accessing or using the services provided by Foundations of Financial Stability Inc. ("FinStability", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our services.
2. Description of Service
FinStability provides users with access to a collection of online educational resources, including video courses, articles, and community forums, related to personal finance and investment (the "Service"). Access to certain features may be subject to payment.
3. User Obligations and Conduct
You agree to use the Service for lawful purposes only. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You agree not to:
- Share your account credentials or allow others to use your account.
- Reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, or resell any portion of the Service or its content without our express written permission.
- Post any content that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
4. Payments, Subscriptions, and Refunds
- Fees: Certain parts of the Service are billed on a subscription basis or as a one-time purchase. You agree to pay all applicable fees as described on the pricing page.
- Billing: Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis. You authorize us to charge your payment method for such fees.
- Refunds: One-time course purchases may be eligible for a refund within a specified period, as outlined in our refund policy. Subscription fees are generally non-refundable.
5. Intellectual Property
All content included on the Service, such as text, graphics, logos, videos, and software, is the property of FinStability or its content suppliers and is protected by Canadian and international copyright laws. Your use of the Service does not grant you any ownership rights to the content.
6. Limitation of Liability
The information provided through the Service is for educational purposes only and does not constitute financial advice. FinStability is not a financial advisor. To the fullest extent permitted by law, FinStability shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service.
7. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice before any new terms take effect. By continuing to use the Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
